It’s not the sort of portrait shoot we get asked to do everyday, but for special friends with special kids, we’re happy to oblige. Mum and Dad of twins Grace and Luke, plus eldest son Aaron, invited us to their lovely Cambridgeshire home to grab some fun photos of the little mites. We had barely an hour of warm, Autumnal sunshine to take the trio to a local park and try and catch them at play, causing mayhem and striking the occasional pose for the camera.

Zadie and Zoeé are sisters – Zadie lives in East Yorkshire, UK, and sister Zoeé lives on La Réunion island, itself sitting close to Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. American contemporary portrait photographers have a knack for coming up with ‘snazzy’ titles for themed photo-shoots – one is of course the bridal based, ‘Trash The Dress’ sessions. These usually involve a post-ceremony shoot (usually after the couple return from honeymoon), where the bride again dons her wedding dress but this time poses amongst all manner of grimy, sometimes industrial or water based mayhem.

We first met Scott when he was working as a cameraman and ‘craft’ editor for the local BBC. At the same time, and working in the same building as Scott, was the lovely Keeley (who was working on a news desk compiling video and audio footage if my memory serves me well). Daniel rose to fame, notoriety and dodged paparazzi pressure back in 2005 after he came in the top three of that years Channel 4, Big Brother [5] show.
